Home Remedies for Heat Stroke
Heat stroke is a serious medical condition which needs for immediate medical attention to avoid severe complications like brain damage or even death. It is due by overexposure to environmental heat which is common during summer, so it is advised to avoid direct contact in the sun between 10 am until 3 pm.
The most common symptoms of mild heat stroke include weakness, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, severe headache, spontaneous muscle cramps and other heat exhaustion related symtoms. While severe heat stroke are associated with rapid pulse rate, hallucination, abnormal blood/body temparature, unconciousness, difficutly in breathing and coma.
If someone within your family experienced heat stroke you can do first aid to avoid severe illness. A timely application of cold compress or taking onion juice and other fruit juices are highly beneficial in avoiding such grave consequences. You can also consume a mixture of buttermilk with a little bit of salt added to it.
But always remember that prevention is still better than cure.
